The Modern World
The Modern World
In our modern world that we live in today, going out to work is becoming more of a thing of the past. Thanks to the internet and the incredible advances in technology, I estimate that at least 40% of the workforce works from home or can work from home with links to their office.
If You Want Something Enough…
In these blogs I want to examine the numerous possibilities there are for working from home and how to achieve them. Some of my ideas are based on personal experience and some may sound like fantasy which maybe are. But I do have one very strict philosophy; if you don’t try you won’t know. My father used to always say that someone who is hungry enough will succeed. If you are hungry to work at home and from home then you can make it happen.
Careful of Fraud
You also have to be very careful as there are a lot of con artists out there who are trying it on. I suppose this can be one form of working from home, it is their way of getting money. Don’t fall into a trap of registering for some great work at home kit and paying a fortune for it. Any job that you have to pay for will automatically be a dud. A job should pay you and not the other way round. Keep this in mind no matter how tempting an offer may sound.
Set Your Goals and Limitations
Before you even contemplate what sort of work you want to do from home, you need to establish for yourself the number of hours you can commit and what sort of job you can do. It can be creative, administrative, manual, anything you choose. Don’t think too much yet about how many millions you want to earn as this will come with the work and the experience you gain.
If you intend to advertise your services then be careful re taxes, you will have to register with the local tax authorities and make sure all your transactions are legal. The last thing you want is to be caught out on some small technicality and not be able to get your idea off the ground!
Well in the next blog, I will start with more solid ideas. But at least I have given you some material for thought ?..Until we meet again.
