<description>Thank you for the coverage on Life Coaches and in particular Wellness Coaching. I am a certified wellness coach and owner of The WellCenter Group, LLC and absolutley love what I do!

I do want to point out that while certification or formal education in coaching is not currently required to practice to date, being that it is a relatively new profession, there are professional coaches that are certified by accredited coaching programs. These programs have strict requirements to become and remain certified. This is an important first step in ensuring the credibility of not only your business but the profession itself.

There are also many universities and colleges, including Harvard, now introducing the coaching concepts into many courses and possibly even an education track. There are many valuable resources on the web for finding information about becoming certified as well as finding mentor coaches who help coaches that are new to the business.

Again, thanks for the spotlight!
