Teaching from Home
It seems that everyone who has had or has anything to do with the school systems today wherever you are in the world has something to complain about. Unfortunately we all say that the schools are not like they used to be and only seem to be getting worse.
If you have patience and an understanding of a particular subject there is no reason why you can’t set yourself up as a teacher from home. I am not talking about home schooling as that is quite difficult and demands many hours of input and patience. But more I am talking about choosing a particular subject and offering introductory lessons or back up lessons for what the child should be getting in school.
If for example you live in a country where the first language is not English, many parents still want their children to learn English from an early age so you can set yourself up as an English teacher teaching letters and then joining them into words and in the end teaching a child to read. If you are artistic you can offer after school activities teaching different forms of art or creative crafts. There are numerous subjects that you can choose or even offer your services as a tutor in general school subjects to make up for what is missing in the current curriculum.
Yes there are plenty of tutors available but unfortunately there is a big demand for them so there will always be work for you as a tutor and you can demand high prices the more popular you get.
